Watch this short film about our Where Is Home? summer school, which explores the themes of the show with young people from downtown Los Angeles. The themes of Where is Home? are migration, home and diaspora, identity, belonging and self worth.

 

Alongside performances, we offer a comprehensive range of educational outreach, including workshops and residencies. These can take the form of ‘one-off’ practical dance and music sessions, or masterclasses, which give more experienced  students a chance to join the company technique and improvisation sessions, to learn excerpts from the repertoire and to explore the themes and issues raised in the work. We also offer short or long residencies, allowing participants to develop work leading to performance. For Where Is Home? we are keen to give opportunities to specific groups, e.g. refugees and vulnerable young people.
